Neutral Milk Hotel

One of my favorite albums of all time is An Aeroplane over the Sea, which is one of Neutral Milk Hotel's finest! Why have I waited until now to declare my sweet love for this album? Well it was shuffled through the large stock of cd's I have! Some how upon stocking them this one was lost in the sea of music I have. Once I saw it the other day I jumped for joy! This album is amazing! The music is delicately laid out so it flows like a masterpiece when listening. I just am always shocked by the pop like beat of some songs to the slow calming that are in others. This album has been highly popular and to my surprise even has it's own Wikipedia page!

Why I love it? Since the first time I heard this album I fell in love with it. Although there are songs that come off as, well churchy... looking at it from a music standpoint it's stunningly beautiful. The low-fi quality doesn't drown out the epic lyrics and strums. Every time I hear it, it feels like an adventure. I can get lost in the guitar rifts. Fly over the sea with the frighteningly beautiful sound of Jeff Mangums voice. If you have yet to hear this beautiful album, PLEASE DO! It will definitely rock your world!
